St. Patrick's Day 2012

It certainly was all green for the pupils and staff on Friday 16th March! The now annual St. Patrick's Day parade took place around the yard of the school with Ryan, Ronan and Mark leading the way with their drums and tambourines. They were like three modern-day St. Patrick's leading their flock to the beat of the drum.

The teachers of the school had a fun-filled day planned for the children and a big thanks to the teachers for organising their respective activities. Also the beautiful artwork the children went home with was sensational. They are the luckiest children in the world!!

St. Patrick's Assembly

The whole school congregated in the library for a very special assembly led by Mrs Beeton. There was prayer, singing and traditional music performed by the tin whistlers from Mrs Beeton's and Miss McManus' rooms.

Our very own St. Patrick

Packie was our honorary St. Patrick for the day and in the picture he is joined by his sisters Tara and Clodagh. Hail Glorious St. Packie!!

Marina, our music teacher, came to the school on Friday 16th March also to lead the children in some fantastic traditional tin whistle playing. The boys and girls were simply brilliant and I feel there are some very bright futures ahead for some of these whistlers!

Well done to the teachers, the pupils and all the helpers on Friday 16th March!
